I want to be a tutor because I believe there are a high number of people struggling with various subjects in school, and more help should be made available to them. When I was in school good tutors were hard to come by and I wish that I had had access to it. I believe there isn't anything wrong in asking for extra help where you need it, and I am happy to help where I can. In school I always excelled in English and writing and that is a skill that I believe to be invaluable, and I want to help others feel confident in their writing. My SAT writing scores were my highest, and I also participated in extra curricular writing programs for a few years.

Hobbies
I have always had a love of literature and writing. I write my own short stories and essays but have chosen to remain unpublished, and you can usually find me with a book. In addition to reading and writing I love art, and I would say that is really my first love. I enjoy painting and sketching, as well as designing clothing, furniture and experimenting with other interior design elements.
