I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in biology and in music. Two years later, I completed a graduate program and received my master's degree in public health with a focus on biostatistics. During this time, I've had the privilege of tutoring students from all walks of life, including middle school pupils who're preparing for the ISEE so they can enter some of the country's top private schools. As a tutor, I have been able to help countless students overcome academic hurdles and reach goals they never knew they were capable of. I believe that the best way to help someone succeed in the classroom is to get to know their learning style and come up with a teaching method that works best for them, so that you're able to build upon their strengths and help them overcome various weaknesses. Additionally, I also believe that building a rapport with students is important for cultivating trust and a mutual respect, which can go a long way in motivating them to succeed. Along with teaching, my other hobbies include traveling abroad, playing music, and participating in outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and running.
