Experience

I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where I received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.Math is a rewarding and exciting subject. From the time that I was in high school, I liked solving precalculus, trigonometry, and algebra problems. Once I was in college, I was also fascinated by calculus.I spent several years tutoring after college, both at a community college and in my own studio. In addition, I tutored pre-algebra, algebra, and calculus, as well as teaching basic math to freshmen, in Pennsylvania at Manor College. At this time, I am volunteering with after-school tutor programs in St. Louis as I study to further develop my own skills. My plan is to return to college to pursue graduate degrees in actuarial science and applied mathematics.I tutor in elementary math, middle school math, algebra, calculus, precalculus, trigonometry, competition math, multivariable calculus, arithmetic, and pre-algebra. I also help students who are studying for the SAT and GRE.In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, and knitting.
