I am a 30 year old student in the final semester of my undergraduate education. I enjoy science writing and continuing research into the political and social issues regarding the life sciences. As an adult student I am acutely aware of the challenges faced by those in the public school or university setting. I enjoy teaching and take pride in my ability to break down complex material into a context that a student will be familiar with. As a student I am familiar with the struggle of those with limited attention spans who have difficulty understanding material meant for large classrooms or lecture halls, often time presented by overworked teachers that lack the time to ensure every student has a grasp of the material. Over time I have discovered ways to repackage this often overwhelming information into easily understood forms. While I can't make any guarantees, I hope to provide a student that is struggling with the tools and information they need to have mastery of the subject at hand.
